Grand Opening - New Items & Gifts!

Today Jana's Classic Designs is opening a second mainstore! There are over 20 new outfits in stock for you! They range from formal to summer casual.

From 12-2 pm slt is the "official" grand opening and we'll be in the store with some great music, fun, and FREE GIFT VOUCHERS! Also there is ONE grand prize gift voucher to be given away for 5 outfits of your choice! But you must be in the store to win.

The new store is connected to my daughter's, Fiyah Golding, store (Style Innovatorz) so sneak over and check out here wonderful line of clothing as well.

Jana's Classic Designs in SL Discovery Hunt

Hey there, bet you thought I'd forgotten you all lol.

Jana's Classic Designs will be a part of the biggest hunt in SL so far - the SL Discovery Hunt. It runs from May 1-May 31 and possibly throughout June (we'll let you know on that later).

There is an original outfit in the main store just waiting for you to come find it. All accessories shown on the pic are included (except the hair and my ring). You're looking for a magnifying glass and it's not to hard to find! While you're in the store, there are still items marked way down so be sure you take advantage of that as well.

You can start at the official starting points or you can start in my store. It's a circular hunt so wherever you start, you'll wind up hitting all the shops. There's a group joiner for the hunt in the store as well and a sign to click for info and starting points. Good luck and happy hunting, I've checked out some of the merchandise to be had and there's some gooood stuff out there!

I've just released an absolutely gorgeous timeless ensemble appropriately named - Classique. Yes I'm back to black again but no other color could touch the sheer elegance of this outfit. The top has a jewel neckline that is perfect for the necklace included in this set. The skirt is slim fitting with a subtle scalloped hemline.

To perfectly accessorize this outfit included and made by yours truly (ME! lol) are matching hat, earrings, necklace, bracelets, waistchain, and a clutch. I truly hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it.

While you're in store, be sure to check out the Greatest Love Valentine's Day Grid Wide Hunt (that's a mouthful lol) poster. There is a group joiner that you can click to join the hunter group so you stay updated.

New Pretties@Jana's Classic Designs!

I have released 2 new outfits and a great ensemble set today at Jana's Classic Designs. I'm really excited about them so start your new year off right with these beautiful designs!

The ensemble set is called Chique Ensemble. It is a chic (lol) wardrober suited for any number of events or occasions. You can wear it at least 5 different ways. It features a jacket top with detailed collar and cuffs and a low-lying flexi making it suitable as a jacket or a short dress. Add the cuffed hem pants and you are simply ready for your day. Or wear the system skirt with the flexi or without. The possibilities are great.

Next up we have Elegance - an upgraded business suit with a flair! This suit has a dual color top which accentuates the skirt. The fur collar and cuffs set this apart!

And last but certainly not least is Frances - a beatifully textured white dress which can be worn above the knee or as a formal (both skirts and flexi's are included). An optional modesty panel is included. A fine gold thread outlines this beautiful dress named after someone very special to me.

This multi-piece ensemble is called Sassy Mama. Currently just in black (my favorite color) it features a sleeveless, mock turtleneck top with a low fitting flexi. There are panties included which allows it to be worn as a cute maternity lil black dress or you can wear the pindot black pants also included. I have to admit this is my favorite maternity outfit so I've been holding back on you ladies lol.

Well well...Valentine's Day seems to have left it's mark because I'm pregnant! LOL. Since I know how hard it can be to look stylish while you're expecting in SL, I decided to make a few maternity outfits for all you ladies who find yourself expecting a bundle of joy.

First are the Sexy Maternity Outfits available in 4 different colors/patterns. Each has a top, shorts, glitch pants, prim top and prim skirt - all of which are interchangeable to provide you with several different looks from casual to businesslike.

Also I decided to finally release a few of the maternity tops I made a couple years ago. These are cute and inexpensive!

New Release!!!

OMG, I've been so busy in world moving my main store, redoing the islands, setting up other stores (yay I won a store at Sensual Casanova's island!) that I forgot to post in my own blog!

Anyway I decided to add some color to help usher in the spring (it's 12 degrees here right now). Jasmin is a cute sparkly sundress available in 5 colors to help brighten your day and make you too believe that it's really 75 degrees!!

As I said my main store has moved to the Clothing sim. I'll add it to my fav places soon but for now you can look it up in my classifieds in my profile. Thru Valentine's Day you can find the free dress there as well!

More Black@Jana's Classic Designs!!!

Ok I said I was giving in to my desire to make black clothes lol. And here's more with a touch of red.

First up is the dress I put out for customers for Christmas. Shakira Embellished is now for sale in case you missed it during the holidays.

There's nothing hotter than a cute lil black dress so my version of the lil black dress is also for sale. You can dress it up or dress it down. But it's cute and flouncy so you'll be sure to turn a few heads when you wear it!

Finally, there's the Tanya Cocktail Dress which is chic enough to take you from the boardroom by day to the theater by night. It is a long sleeved, above-knee black dress that can be worn alone or with the jacket overlay which has sparkly gold dodads. I realllly like this lol.

Ok in case you didn't know this, I loveeeeeee black clothes especially black dresses. I try hard to be more diverse but I decided to go with it this time. And here are my two latest releases.

Tiffany is an elegant black dress with stunning silver sequined accents. There is a soft gauzy skirt overlay that you can wear to dress it up even more!

Kimberly is the second black dress and I absolutely love the cut on this dress. It features a mock turtleneck (unusual on a more formal dress), two tops (short and long-sleeve), a single strap connecting the bottom and top of the dress, and ablack belt with silver inlay! Both are perfect for those upcoming cocktail parties.

First I'd like to extend my condolences to the family of the beautiful man behind the persona of Ginny Talamasca. I've gone back and forth whether to post anything and was kind of glad that the news had not become public because that way I could deal with it privately. But here we are. I echo the sentiments of Starley most closely. Second Life has lost a tremendous talent, artist, and person. There are so many stories I could tell about my relationship with Ginny but suffice it to say, I will miss you sooo very much. The pic above is from one of our "meetings" which always took place in the sky somewhere. How appropriate when I look back on it and for now I'll end by saying "save me a place up there my friend."

Which way do you see the dancer turning? I see it mostly clockwise but then occasionally it changes up for me and I see counterclockwise. It has to do with left-brain vs right-brain dominance. So I can't wait to see which way you see it. Look at it a while too and see if it changes for you. I have a headache from looking at it lmao.

Ok, I told you about the recent death of my computer *cries* and I'm just getting back up to speed with the new one after reinstalling and updating, blah blah. I wanted to do something fun so I made these cute bandana dresses! They are available in six colors and boy do they accentuate your every curve. Just the thing for the end of the summer lol. P.S. The headwrap is not included as it's a modification of the band on the hair. The hair is from Imani Moseley at Fetish Boutique.

Hey lovies!

I'm back among the living again (I think) lol. This summer has been such a disappointment to me design-wise. I've spent the last 3 mos living on the edge of a major computer crash and actually had a few major crashes. Lost everything just about and then couldn't really manage to run photoshop at all. Buttttttttttttt I did manage to get a new computer - YAY!!! And after devoting time to some personal things, I think I'm ready to pick up my tablet and get to making clothes again. I've got some ideas brewing now and I'm opening up PS as soon as I post this. Hopefully, you'll see some new designs floating around soon!

Introducing NONI

Ok, hot off the sewing machine (LOL) I have a new set of beautiful dresses inspired and named for my niece, Noni. But pleaseeeeeee don't tell her I didn't make a purple or pink one. She is quite the purple and pink fanatic but I hear she likes gold too now so maybe she'll be appeased :))

The first set features a matching top, skirt, and pants along with a flexi prim skirt which is sheer on the outside with highlighted color underneath. I threw in a pair of matching heels with gold accents in each pack.

The second set is Noni Basic Black with black top, skirt, and pants with the flexi prim skirt with sheer black outside and highlighted color underneath. Black heels with gold accents are included in each.

These dresses are wonderful and be sure you spin around in them. They are very impressive when dancing so put one on and go out and party!!!

By the way, you can wear each dress with all the pieces or you can leave out the skirt and just wear the pants with the flexi. Oooops forgot to say they will be out at the main store (see the link to the right under Some of my Favorite Places) later today or tomorrow!

Yay!!!! New Bikinis!!!

OMG I'm so sleepy but for some reason I couldn't rest without releasing these bikinis. There's 3 styles - Barbados (with 10 different colors available), Scintille (4 colors), and Tonga (2 colors). I have no rational idea why Barbados has 10 colors except I started having fun coloring it. But then I had to photo it from two angles and compile a nice ad pic for all of them. Then box them up - twice mind you. One for my vendors and one for display sales. So that great massive coloring idea became very painful over the course of the past 2 days.

Anyway, just posting a pic of one of each. They are available at my main store for now. They may be rolled out into my other stores later today or tomorrow or day after....who knows lol. You can tp to my main store from the link here or check my profile picks.

The "Pearls" have been FLEXED!!! Gold Pearl and Pink Pearl were some of my earliest prim clothing. They still sell well and I've had a few requests to update them with flexi skirts so there they are! I'm keeping the original prim skirt in the box as well.

Hola all!!!

I had the chance to get away for a few days and it was so worth it. As much as I love my friends and family both in SL and RL, it was nice being away and unavailable lol. I only turned on my cell phone once a day to check messages and check on home briefly! And I didn't even bother taking my laptop with me - that's a first!!! Anddd I had access to a computer than I could have logged onto SL on but I wasn't even tempted.

But I'm backkkkkkkkkkkkk. I was checking out some videos and noticed that I could embed them on my blog so I stuck Beautiful Liar up here so you can see where the inspiration for the last set of releases came from. Maybe now I can listen to the words and see what the darn video is about lol.

Stay tuned for some new releases soon (hopefully lol). The weather has been so nice outside the past few days it's hard to stay focused. Plus I have to get started on some rl work that I've put off for far too long. But sooooon......

Beautiful series is complete!!!

Due to an ever pushy Fiyah, the Beautiful series is now complete with the latest release of Beautiful in Red. So that makes black, white, and red. And before you even think about it, no it won't be released in any other colors! lol

Also new is something romantic and ultra sexy - Deja Vu. This hot number can be worn as a dress with the flexi skirt or as a sexy undergarment with the panty. It reminds me of the old cigarette girls. Or if you stick a bunny tail on the back, you'll be the hottest SL playboy bunny!

Beautiful in White

Ok it's official - I know some pushy people!!! But thanks to their pushiness (Fiyah Golding!) Beautiful is now available in white. The texture on this is reminiscent of a glorious lace wedding dress so I wouldn't be surprised to see someone who prefers a simpler style wedding dress to jump the broom in this number.

And Fiyah, keep holding your breath and maybe a red will magically appear lolol.

Ok I thought I was doing very well. Wrote out a second post with pics attached and bammmmm...it's floating out in cyberspace somewhere lol. Anyway I wanted to post my latest releases and talk a little about them.

All 3 outfits are very much inspired by Beyonce & Shakira's new video "Beautiful Liar". The funny thing is after watching it for a zillion times, I have absolutely no idea what it's about - although I can deduce from the title that it's probably about a man :) I was so in the zone checking out the clothes I'm not sure I heard a word of the song. The dance moves were hot too. But a longtime customer IM'ed to tell me I HAD to watch this video because there were some beautiful dresses that hadddddd to be made loll. And here they are.... Hello all and welcome to Jana's Classic Designs on Blogspot. This has been an intended project for a long time but since I am a total novice about website design, it's just been sitting in the back of my mind lol. But here we are and I'll do my best to figure this thing out :)

The primary purpose of this blog will be to provide a place for my customers to see what's available in my stores in SL. And also a place for me to ramble about whatever happens to be on my mind at the time.

So let me get things underway by clicking some button on here to get this posted. Bear with me though because it may be a slightly bumpy ride for a while lolol.
